KEITH MOONEY
Fluid partner Keith Mooney gained valuable experience in operations logistics and hospitality as Manager for Ace Parking, at the Sheraton Seattle and the Westin Seattle Hotels. During this period, he served an integral coordination role for a number of high-profile events, including fundraisers for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, ARCS, and the Boys and Girls Club.
In 2003 Keith moved to Los Angeles where he served as Operations Manager at Zaring-Cioffi Entertainment, a special event production company specializing in celebrity hosted fundraising events.
Keith returned to the Westin Seattle Hotel in 2006 where he worked in the demanding banquet department. As a premier event location in Seattle, Keith acquired extensive experience in fine dining, banquet operations and bartending. It was here that he honed his skills as a sought after mixologist.
Missing the sunshine of Southern California led Keith to San Diego in 2009. There he joined Dr. Nathan Hornsby, an old friend from his days at the Sheraton Seattle, as office manager for his growing dental practice, the Cosmetic Dentistry Center of San Diego. In his spare time, including most weekends, Keith served as the Southern California market manager for Seattle-based bartending service Shake Bartenders. In addition to his role as manager, Keith served as a master mixologist at Shake’s many events throughout the Southern California area prior to the launch of Fluid early in 2017.
JAMES HOLLOWAY
Raised in the tourist mecca of the Coachella Valley region of California, Fluid partner, and mixology specialist James Holloway has over 12 years of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Having worked first as a server and later a manager at various venues in Palm Springs and across Southern California, James had the privilege of learning from some of the top mixologists from New York City and Los Angeles, gaining an intimate knowledge of how to craft classic cocktails made from the most unique spirits, wines and beers sourced from all over the world.
James credits the five years spent at the Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs under the tutelage of Iron Chef Jose Garces as the most influential on his development and style. He also helped open one of the first true tequila bars in Palm Springs – El Jefe – which featured over 100 different type of tequilas mixed with the freshest daily made purees, and earlier worked at Tinto, a tapas bar that specialized in unique Spanish cocktails and wines. In addition, James served as the Southern California market manager for Seattle-based bartending service Shake Bartenders.
James has spent the past eight years in special event catering, which allows him to combine a love of spirits with a passion for dance and music. He prides himself on bringing the highest form of professionalism and service to Fluid, as evidenced by the long list of clients who will follow him on his new adventure and venture.
